9 Soldier are Allegedly Been Killed by Boko Haram in Nasarawa State



 Nine soldiers are reportedly been killed by boko haram insurgency during rescue operations along mararaba udege road in nasarawa state linking Otukpo oweto in Banue.

The nation report that the slain soldiers who were led to the Forest by an officer Felix Kura an indigene of Banue State, Were Iliya Kefas , Bati Yakubu and other young officer whose name can not be identified immediately.

It was learnt that the soldiers from 177 Guards Battalion, shitu Barrack in Kefi, Nasarawa state were on mission to dislodge to boko haram insurgency from the forest who kidnapped many indigene of the state and held them in captive.

They killed 5 boko hara before they were overpowered by the terrorist whose weapons are more sophisticated.

A source in the Barack says;

"As soon as they ran into the Bush and they realized they were over powered Kura was said to have told his colleagues including his cover escape.

The authority of 177 guards battalion have informed the family of the slain soldiers of their fate and signinal has been sent to headquarters.

We actually lost nine soldiers in the mission, it is quite unfortunates but that is the supreme price of military officer. "
