 The Chief of air staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar has said that the attack of boko haram terrorist in the northeast and bandit in the northeast and north central zone in the country have been largely curtailed. Speaking at the graduation ceremony of officer of basic Regiment course and other specific Regiment course training center in Kaduna on Saturday January 23, Abubakar said the feat was achieved through constant push back by the air and grand troops of service and other security forces, and constant deployment of well trained personnel and equipment to theatre of operations in various military operations. 9 Soldier are Allegedly Been Killed by Boko Haram in Nasarawa State

 Nine soldiers are reportedly been killed by boko haram insurgency during rescue operations along mararaba udege road in nasarawa state linking Otukpo oweto in Banue. The nation report that the slain soldiers who were led to the Forest by an officer Felix Kura an indigene of Banue State, Were Iliya Kefas , Bati Yakubu and other young officer whose name can not be identified immediately. It was learnt that the soldiers from 177 Guards Battalion, shitu Barrack in Kefi, Nasarawa state were on mission to dislodge to boko haram insurgency from the forest who kidnapped many indigene of the state and held them in captive. Governor Abdullahi Sule has Raise Alarm over Boko Haram Regrouping in Nasarawa State

  Nasarawa state Governor ABDULAHI SULE has said that members of dreaded sect 'Boko haram' are regrouping in the state and carrying out act of violence. The Governor started this when spoke with statehouse correspondence after a close door meeting with President Buhari at the state House in Abuja today January 22, according to the Governor, members of the sect who were dislodged from location along the Abuja, nasarawa borders last year has regrouped along the nasarawa, Benue borders wrecking New form of Havocs. He said some of the boko Haram element active in his state belong to the darussalam group that had been dislodge from Niger, adding that upon the joint security operations a lot of them were killed while 900 were arrested, he said that those arrested confirmed they membership of boko haram insurgency group. Another Attack in Yobe State by Boko Haram

Boko haram attacks yobe state again. NEWS BY:- Raliyat  Gujba town of Gujba local government area of yobe state come under boko haram attacks on Saturday January 9 two days after the insurgents attacked the Geidam community in the state were they burnt down shops and carted away drugs in hospital. An eye witness who spoke to channel television Adamu Bura said the terrorist first laid ambush to the military vehicle on the high way and later stormed the village setting some structure ablaze. Witness Bura said; "They laid ambush to the military vehicle then later proceed to the gujba town.   We have fled to the bush but we can see smoke everywhere."  Yobe police spokesman ASP Dungus Abdulkarim confirmed the attack  but said the number of casualties is still unclear.

Eyewitness alleged that the terrorist looted goods before setting some shops ablaze, they also torches the house of the former chairman of a local government, Dr. Mulima Mayo. Yobe police command spoke man ASP Fungus Abdulkarim who said the police recovered Hilux vehicle containing two babies maintained that it could not be ascertained weather the deceased were boko haram members. Abdulkarim said the insurgents went to the general hospital and ordered the nurse to give first aid treatment to their challenge, before they escape.
