  President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked Chief service and has appointed new officer to take over the office. A tweet by a special adviser to the President on media and publicity, Femi Adesina announce the dismissal. Read; "PMB appointed new service Chief Maj Gen LEO irabor CDS, Maj Gen I Attahiru, Army, Rear ADM AZ Gambo Navy AVM IO Amao air force, Be congratulate outgoing service Chief effort to bring enduring peace to the country." Major General Leo Irabor assume office as the Chief of defence staff, Major General I. Attahiru is now the Chief of army staff, Rear Admiral AZ Gambo assume office as the new Chief of Nava Staff while Air vice Marshall I.O Amao is now the Chief of air staff. Ex-IGP.  Former inspector general of police IGP Gambo Jimeta is dead. Jimeta who served as IGP between 1986 and 1990 also served as national security adviser NSA for a former Head of state, Ibrahim Babangida and also the representative of adamawa state to the national conference hold in 2014.
