Nigeria Beans Ban was Extended till June 2022 - EU
The Europeans union has extend the the Nigeria beans import to June 2022 over Nigeria failure to implement food safety action plan submitted in 2018. The euro food safety had in 2015 banned Nigeria beans because it contains between 0.3mg per kilogram and 4.6mg per kg of Dichlorvos, a pesticides when the maximum acceptable reduce limit was 0.01mg pee kg. The commission extended the importation of dry beans from Nigeria aunt 2019 owing the continuous present of the pesticides. It has gained extension ban. By Rashidat Mustapha from Abuja.
