Federal Civil Servants are Directed to Work from Home

  Federal civil servants on grade level 12 and below have been directed to work from home following the increase case of coronavirus recorded in country. In the circular dated January 26 and address to the Chief of staff to the President Muhammadu Buhari, Clark of the national Assembly and permanent Secretaries, the head of the civil servants Folasade Yemi Esan said the decision was taken to curbs the spread of coronavirus. Read; "Further to the circular No. HCSF/3065/vol 1 /47 dated 22nd December 2020, on the above subject and following the advise of presidential task force PTF on Coronavirus all officer on GL 12 and below are to continue working from home till end of February 2021. It is important to emphasised the need to ensure strictly compliance with the existing guidelines on the prevention of the spread of coronavirus. Permanent Secretary and Chief executive officer are enjoined to bring the contents of this circular to the attention of all concerned and compliance. "

Governors Forum Has Tell Yahaya Bello That, Coronavirus is Real

 The Nigeria governor forum has told Governor Yahaya Bello of kogi state that coronavirus is real, after he claimed that the coronavirus vaccines are meant to kill people. The kogi state governor who had before now denied the existence of the virus in his state, had told the crowd to reject the vaccines because they are meant to killed. Yahaya Bello said; "Vaccines are been produce in less than one year of coronavirus, of which they is no vaccines yet for HIV, Malaria, cancer, headache and other several disease that are killing us, they want to introduce the vaccines this will kill you and us God forbid." Civil Servants From Grade 1 to 13 Should Work From Home, River State Government Directed

 Civil servants from grade 1 to 13 are reportedly directed to work from home by the river state government. In the statement issued on Tuesday January 19 by head of service in the state Rufus Godwin, officer from level 14 and above were also directed to be on duty and assume full responsibility to their office till further notice. Godwin, said the decision was taken due to the increased of coronavirus case in the second waves of the disease. "Following the current increase in the number of coronavirus case in the second waves of pandemic, His Excellent Governor of River state, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has directed all civil servants on salary scale of 01-13 except those on essential duty to stay away from forthwith. While officer from grade 14 and above should be on duty and assume full responsibility for their office till further notice. This directive which takes effect from Wednesday 20 January 2021 shall remain in force until his excellent direct otherwise please." By Rashidat

Covid-19 New Cases Recorded in Nigeria

 A 1598 New cases of coronavirus were recorded in Nigeria on Saturday January 16 as announced by the Nigeria center for disease control NCDC. The health agency gave the break down of the new cases across state as follows,  Lagos - 461 FCT - 206 Plateau - 197 Rivers - 168 Kaduna - 116 Anambara - 53 Ogun - 49 Ebonyi - 47 Edo - 42 Sokoto - 32 IMO - 31 Katsina - 31 Oyo - 30 Akwa ibom - 27 Delta - 16 Kano - 16 Abia - 15 Niger - 15 Ondo - 11 Bayelsa - 10 Borno - 9 Kbbi - 8 Ekiti - 7 Jigawa - 1 They are 108,943 confirm coronavirus cases in the country and 1420 death recorded, 85,367 patients recovered from the diseases and also been discharge.   Ibidapo Obe - died of coronavirus . Former vice Chancellor of university of Lagos, Professor Oyewusi Ibidapo One has died. Ibidapo One died of coronavirus complications on Sunday January 3 he was 71 years old. Born on July 4 1949, the former university don was a one time President of Nigeria academic sciences he attended both Ilesa Grammar school and igbobi college from 1962- 1968 and university of Lagos from 1968 - 1971. He was awarded a Bachelor of science (B.sc Hons) degree in mathematics at first class division by the university of Lagos Nigeria in 1971, A master in Mathematics (M.Maths) degree in applied mathematics with a minor in computer science in 1973 and a Doctor of philosophy PhD in civil engineering with specializations in applied mechanic/system in 1976 both from the university of Waterloo, Ontario Canada. He survived by his wife Olusola and four children. May his soul rest in peace. Amen

King 87 has been hospitalized at cedars Sinai medical center in los Angeles for more than a week and is intensive care due to the fact type 2 diabetes,  according to the statement released by his family. He has also so battled several heart attack over the year and had quintuple bypass surgery in 1987. In 2017 King revealed he has been diagnosed with cancer and successful underwent surgery to treat it. Also in 2019 he had surgery to treat angina. King hosted CNN's Larry King live, for 25 years, interviewing presidential candidate, celebrities, athletes, movies star and everyday people, gaining him celebrity status would wide . The Presidential task force on coronavirus December 24 Announced that travelers who refused to undergo coronavirus rest after retuning to Nigeria will have his passport suspended. True to the threat, the presidential task force on coronavirus yesterday January 2 announced the suspension of the passports. A breakdown of the new cases is as follows; Lagos-388, FCT-77, Kwara-39, Katsina-35, Bauchi-33, Plateau-22, Ogun-18, Akwa Ibom-16, Delta-13, Kaduna-12, Osun-12, Yobe-11, Sokoto-10, Kebbi-8, Enugu-6, Edo-5, Ondo-3, Niger-2, Kano-1 and Oyo-1.
