District Head Was Kidnapped By Boko Haram in Yobe State





Thursday January 7 attacked by Boko haram insurgent in Geidan town of yobe state.

Eyewitness alleged that the terrorist looted goods before setting some shops ablaze, they also torches the house of the former chairman of a local government, Dr. Mulima Mayo.

Yobe police command spoke man ASP Fungus Abdulkarim who said the police recovered Hilux vehicle containing two babies maintained that it could not be ascertained weather the deceased were boko haram members.

Abdulkarim said the insurgents went to the general hospital and ordered the nurse to give first aid treatment to their challenge, before they escape.

Following the attacked, Governor Mai Mal Buli has ordered the state Emergency Management egency to move to Geudan and support the victims.

The governor who commiserated with the residents and described the incident as unfortunates.

The government and peoples of yobe state will continue to partner with security agencies for the return of peace and security across the state.
