Professor Dikwa - Nobody is Safe Anymore in Borno State

Dikwa - the issue of insecurity in the state should be treated.

 Prof. Khalifa Dikwa Dean of borno Elder forum has raised alarm that no body is safe in borno state except in the state capital, Maiduguri.

Speaking in an interview channel television Dikwa started that even when Boko Harram insurgent are not physically present, they physiologically disturbing the peoples.

He said;

Even if the boko haram are not physically there, they are physically there disturbing peoples.

From time to time they ride their motorcycle come and harass them to pay levies and so on out side Maiduguri no even five kilometre, No body is safe and they can strike at any time.

Dikwa also alleged that the military did not  heed to the advise of the private military contractor PMC to man the country land border after they had decimated boko haram in 2014.

He added, 

At a time the PMC said okey we have done our bit the rest it has to be political, have dialogue at the position of strength.

That you should allow the other parliamentary, particularly the police to take over the tarrain that you have recapture.

The University Don who called for more collaboration among the security agencies in the fight against insurgency, noted that the military alone can not fight the terrorism in borno state.
