In a two court charges brought before the honorable Justice H Aprioku of river state high Court 11 sitting in port Harcourt ICPC told the court how the duo, john Asegu and Otom Asueni, forcefully collected various sum money of 3,500 from the motorist as a 'fee' to let the motorist pass the checkpoint as along port Harcourt Ahoada express way even with out changed for any traffic offence. The accused persons pleaded not guilty 2 court count charges and the trial judge granted them bail, because they are inability to meet up with the bail conditions.   A retired assistant controller general of immigration, Abdullahi Rakieu and three other person has been reportedly abducted in the Tugan Maje area of Gwagwalada council area federal territory Abuja on Saturday February 6. The kidnappers were said to have raided the victims house and wished them away. This come few days after a punch reporters and two others were kidnapped in a kubwa area of FCT the punch reporter has since regained his freedom.  The Bidden administration on Friday February 5 said the US would support Ngozi Okonjo Iweala as the next director general of the world trade organization, hours after south Korea minister stepped out of the race.  Two brothers has been reportedly killed by suspected bandits that attacked Gidan Maikudi Hamlet, a herders settlement in kerawa Ward of Igabi local government area on Thursday February 4. According to the statement by Samuel Aruwa, the Kaduna state commissioner for internal security and home affairs, the decease brother were identify as Maikudi Hussaini who died on spot during the attacks and Nafiu Hussaini who died from gun shot wounds after he was rush to hospital. The statement added that local government vigilantes in the community mobilized to repels to attacks, and ensuring gunfight, beat back the bandit who withdraw with several casualties.   Governor Hope UzoDinma of IMO state has said that coming 2023, he is certain that Nigerians will come out en-mass and vote for APC . Governor Uzodinma said this during an interview on channel television on Wednesday night February 3.  Gunmen suspected to be Bandits have kill a Man of Oodua people congres OPC Daniel Adejuyigbe Iju Akure north local government area of Ondo state. It was gathered that the decease was part of the search team organized to secure the release of farmer, Solomon Akinmeji who was kidnapped at Okeji farm settlement last Saturday. Akinmeju was on his farm with some other workers when the armed men abduct him while others manage to escape. Youth of the town and members of opc formed a search party to secure the release of the farmer but Adejuyigbe went missing during the search. Confirming the incident, the Ondo state police command spoke person, Tee Leo Ikoro, said an investigation has commenced in to the matter while some detective from the state have been drafted to comb the forest. Appearing on arise TV, the morning show on Monday February 1, Adesina Countered allegations on government shorten down an online news platform, people Gazette.
